Quite often the animal is more stressed if it's not killed quickly and cleanly. And this doesn't half affect the taste of the meat. Which is why the (fast depleting) local abbatoirs, particularly behind the butcher's, offer far better meat than the factory slaughter-houses.
Well, we're going to need lots of vets in abbatoirs if/when we leave the EU: we need them to certify that the meat is safe for export into the EU. So, perhaps this little tongue in cheek comment isn't going to be too far from the truth after all.
I'm not a religious person and would rather not eat meat from animals slaughtered under such doctrine.
Okay. I think you're kidding yourself, though, if you think the ways Tesco's kills animals is any nicer.
I believe he’s extending the deadline for offers until midnight on the 31st of March. A final announcement on the takeover will be made before midday the following day.
Looking at the accounts its not much of a cash cow. However it does wonders for his other business being a cash cow, particularly as he tries to break the asian market. I wonder why Ki and Muto arrived in the summer... I honestly don't know why anyone would believe this ****e. Every year.
You really do have to wonder where Ashley is going with all of this. The club is For Sale so he does not want to invest large sums of money that he feels will be 'wasted' because he wants to sell ................. so he scrimps and saves every transfer window and throughout the year, barely doing enough to scrape survival in the EPL and he also spends virtually zero on the infrastructure, academy etc......................... but on the other hand he wants top dollar for the club and seems intent on sitting tight for his inflated valuation to be met. All the while his actions are actually eroding away at the value of the club and another relegation would prove catastrophic for his valuation. I just cannot fathom what his thought process is .................. taking off my black and white blinkers for a moment............... his actions just seem to put his asset in perpetual jeopardy. I do genuinely wonder what his long term goal is. I know he likes a gamble, but his 'strategy' seems like utter madness to me.
The problem is there is NO long term goal, it is season by season, scrape by and hope for the best, occasionally he may have to throw some money at the wall and hope it sticks to some of the **** but stay in the league each year is about as far as the planning goes. Sure he has ideas though about the ****eDirect advertising around the place though for years to come hence its a part of the deal he can leave it up...
