I was asking earlier as I thought they’d quoted an individual and I’d missed it. It was a genuine question.
I’m cynical enough to think that Ehab ‘leaks’ stuff to the media through ‘club sources’ though. So I’m not as convinced that a sale has ever been on this time, but I hope you’re right of course.

They've not quoted him, though, so presumably anything he had said would have been off the record, otherwise they'd have quoted him, wouldn't they? The HDM knew about it before the 4th October, though that was the first day they mentioned it in the news.

 

Well that's what I thought I'd missed too, which is why I'm confused. People are saying there is no deal, or that there never was. But that's just blind pessimism, as opposed to actual fact.

I can see it falling flat, but in the mean time, it hasn't.

There’s **** all happening, I came to that conclusion a few weeks ago when boy blunder was reported as saying that he could do no more, intimating that it was now up to others or that the ball was in the buyers court. I also concluded that the slimy **** was probably asking way too much and that the prospective buyers had decided to take a step back. Nothing that I’ve read since has made me change my mind.

 

You really should put a time limit on that kind offer, they will **** off one day. Won't they?

There is a slight difference between us mind you.
I haven’t seen anyone I believed say for definite that a deal was on in the first place (I accept there’s been discussions, I’m just not convinced any of them were close enough)
You haven’t seen anyone say for definite that the deal is off and therefore assume it is going ahead, which if you believed it was in the first place is reasonable I think.

Both sides of the same coin. I’m just more pessimistic...I find that an easier position with City, which is why I thought we’d lose to Bolton!

The thing is for me, whilst the owners are despicable lying odious and greedy ****s that are clearly in no rush to **** off. I aren’t going to let that stop me watching the team who over the last 4 weeks have performed miracles. The team is playing as well as can be expected, the manager is doing the right thing. There is definitely a togetherness in the squad, that was evident when all the players celebrated the goal scored by Martin. He’s clearly a popular member of the squad.

I respect the boycott fans, all have valid reasons for non attendance. But if any stay away fans are 50/50 - then I’m sure the support for the manager and players would be appreciated (You can still hate the owners- I do).

 

It's just so tiring all this, claiming there's going to be a sale when there isn't anything close at all. Don't think they'll ever leave
