Yep. And a win would be nice for all sorts of reasons. But given the choice, I’d e take the three points.
I think we'll win both tbh, Leicester have had a bit of decent form recently but Puel struggles with lower sides at home and I reckon we'll take full advantage of an unhappy crowd. As for Derby, it's ****ing Derby ffs they've got Lampard as manager. We'll smash em
I think we should field a decent squad for Derby. I hope he doesn't do a Poch and put out a weakened side. The further we progress in the competition, the better. Ralph will find out more about his side and the team will build up confidence. I don't want to see wholesale changes and we should keep the core of the squad unless circumstances dictate. If players want to get back in to the squad, they have to do it by their own merits and deserve the selection. Lets see the players fight for their places. The FA cup is football's oldest competition. Lets treat it with the respect is deserves and make a decent fist of the Derby game.
Perhaps there is a website with lots of data on fatigue which allows Ian to know that Ralph is just rotating the squad for no reason. Or perhaps there isn't and Ralph did exactly what was needed. No sign of tiredness or fatigue today and a loss and a draw against city and Chelsea is better than expected.
Great point! Romeu easy MOTM. Inspired man management from Ralph to make him captain as well. He was fantastic. Gunn and all 3 CB's were excellent too. But Romeu really stepped up tonight.
. I don't want to see wholesale changes _____________________- He'll freshen it up again. No doubt. But it will still be fairly strong.
Given a choice we'd all rather take a win in the League rather than the FA Cup, but luckily it isn't either/or. A good win on Saturday would provide some extra cheer for players and fans.
I’m sure we’ll make a decent fist of it. I suspect we’ll keep the same formation. I also suspect we’ll see Austin in ahead of Ings. Lemina back in (injury dependent), and perhaps another run out for Ramsey etc.
