You don’t need to own the stadium. You just need to work with the wonderful and receptive HCC to regenerate the stadium and surrounding area. Like Man City. And other clubs. Probably.
Should you be right. I'll pay for a candlelit meal for you and your missus at a restaurant of your choice. How's that?
So somebody doing due dilligence and providing proof of funds isn’t enough evidence that a deal is ongoing? They just doing it for a laugh? Unless it’s cancelled, it’s going through.
No, but I’ve not been told by a concrete source that it’s off. So I’m not going to go around saying it’s off because I’m feeling melancholy about previous sales.
Catching up on messages, so apologies if already covered. But a couple of serious questions: - How exactly do "we KNOW there was"? - Who exactly is the source that's told us? I was told the sale was on track to be completed before the end of November. It didn't happen. The person it came from worked for the club. I stopped feeling convinced there was an imminent sale a few weeks ago. I now seriously wonder if it's all made up crap from the ****s, feeding rubbish (their wishful thinking? their lies just to make us believe something's happening as they buy yet more time? them playing with our minds for the fun of it? or god knows what?). Just about the only thing we do know as absolute fact is that we cannot believe a single word that comes directly or indirectly from the twats. So, back to the 2 questions above, how do we know and who is saying so?
You don't know it comes from them indirectly at all. Probably just someone at the club palming off a nosey ****er.
Sterling Would you mind re-reading my question please? I haven’t argued with you or said it isn’t going through I simply asked who it was that said it was going through. You made the point that someone, not Ehab, said the deal was going through. I just asked who that was because I don’t know...I’m not taking the piss, I’m just asking a spectacularly simple question.
Well we know due diligence was done, proof of funds was provided and talks have taken place. I can’t imagine that was done for a laugh. So as I see it, because it hasn’t been announced it’s off, it’s still on. It was in the HDM and the BBC picked up on it. That’s what I’m going off. I didn’t mean to sound snappy, I just think it’s worth waiting for an announcement one way or another instead of assuming.
But how do we know that? Did it come from the OSC when Sportyco bid? Just want to know, not doubting you or anything, but some on here seem to think there’s nothing happening or are adamant that there never was.
