Do loan players actually do that? I mean get sent out and score shedloads of goals for someone else's club? Kane didn't. I always think of the best talent coming through development ranks first and foremost and getting a chance at their parent club but I could be totally wrong. Basically, if I judged him on his debut games under Poch when he was a kid I would be assuming that he hasnt developed in four seasons so I'm hoping he gets a chance to prove himself because he only has to be better/work harder than Long.
Kane was also quite a bit younger when he was being loaned out. Heck, during his 2014-15 breakout, he was younger than Gallagher was last season. Certainly, a lot of strikers have made their mark on loan. Lukaku did; was absolutely revelatory at West Brom as a teenager. Tammy Abraham's currently leading the Championship in goals scored, and was great with Bristol a couple years back, too. Patrick Bamford scored freely on loan in the Championship, presaging a career of being a Championship player. I swear that I'm not trying to just name Chelsea loanees, it's just that literally every Next Big Thing striker was a Chelsea loanee. Sam might be a late bloomer, but at his age his performance in the Championship is not what you'd expect from a player with a strong future in the PL. Beyond that, his skillset is likely to be far more valuable at that level than ours; we are not a team under Hasenhuttl that is going to be leaning heavily on our striker's ability to win aerial challenges.

I'm sure this sort of thing happens more than we hear about, this will have got out as he got caught in a club doing it so a bouncer/staff member probably sold the story
Also, if it is true ofc, if it happened at a "pre Christmas team get together" then I doubt the guy who got caught was the only one doing it. McCarthy and Charlie Austin pobably
