3 things this country needs to sort out quick smart: 1. Legalisation and taxation of cannabis. Legalise for both medicinal and recreational use. End the many years of bullshit. It doesn't lead to harder drugs and it should not be some taboo. It is criminal that the drug can treat so many medical ailments. Pump the money from the taxation back into the NHS. It would have a massive impact as you are talking about a billion pound industry. So you'd pump all that money back in plus save on people not bothering the NHS and wasting valuable doctor time etc. You'd cripple some of the black market and criminal enterprises overnight too. I'm sorry but this was a 9bn pound industry in the US in 2018. Get our ****ing heads out of the sand and jump on the gravy train with biscuit wheels. It is even more mind boggling that we are the single biggest producer and exporter of legal cannabis. So we know the financial benefit but our stiff upper lip prevents us from gaining full benefit? Utter bullshit. 2. Legalise prostitution. Its makes no sense for this to be illegal. The sooner we accept that some women and men wish to sell their body the better. Allow them to do in a safe way in regulated brothels with proper screening and vetting of customers. You'd get rid of the nasty pimps slapping people about and profiteering off other people. No more standing freezing on streets waiting for the next I am Groot or JPF to come slap you about while they act out weird fantasies. Again the taxation could be pumped back into the NHS and targeted at something like sexual disease. 3. Get lab grown meat into production ASAP through heavy investment. We are worrying about Brexit, but this is another billion pound industry we are set to miss a trick on. We should be spending to accumulate. We should invest heavily now and launch the UK to the forefront of lab grown food products. Make ourselves the go to country for lab grown food etc. Clean meat could make factory farms a thing of the past, save billions of gallons of water per year, and slash carbon emissions from food production. We'd all live in food harmony too. That's my pitch for combatting Brexit and beating Man U tonight.
