a63 closed for 7 miles both directions form South Cave. Accident b between a lorry and a pedestrian at 5.30am adjacent to South Hunsley School. 10 mile diversion into Market Weighton A1034, then Beverley and back to Humber Bridge..!!!

For anyone going Hull bound... come into South Cave, turn right in the village go up over Raywell. You will likely get stuck rejoining the road to get to Humber Bridge or turn left and go through Willerby better than a 10 mile detour...

Chris Martin needs a goal or 2. Today might be his best chance.

Some sources do give 54,650 as the attendance, which they should as clubs nowadays give the attendance as tickets sold. Man Utd are sometimes 15,000 or more under a full house but it is always announced as 75,000. Same with Arsenal and Man City.
Officially the highest ever crowd for a Third tier game is listed as the 52,000 Cardiff had in the early 1950s.
One thing that will never be beaten is our average of 37,000 in the third tier. In the list of record averages we are one place behind Leeds. Their highest average was 1,500 more but that was in the PL and ours was in the Third tier. Not a team above us highest average was outside the top division.
