Afternoon Redmen, How the hell do companies such as http://www.livefootballtickets.com/search.html and http://ticket4football.rtrk.co.uk/?scid=55636&kw=7874627&pub_cr_id=14709212020 get all of these tickets? ! Me, my gf, my sis and her husband wanted tickets for the Wolves game (wanted v's Utd or City but figured we'd have more chance with a game like Wolves) and they have all gone (bar very restricted view seats) through the official website. The last game we went too was v Wolves last christmas but I suppose tickets were more available under Roy! As im not a member I can only get tickets 2 weeks in advance, there are next to none left. If I was a member (which I considered for the tickets) I can only purchase one at at a time! So how do these places get all of these? They want to charge me £117 per ticket. They start out about £85 but when you are done with all the taxes, charges etc it bumps it up. I would be willing to pay but my sis hasn't got much spare money and can't really afford that much per ticket I just can't understand how they get hold of all of these tickets?!!!! Anyone know of anything different I could try or decent websites were I could maybe get tickets for around £90 each?
Seriously, why not be a member? It's 30quid for the year and you get tickets at rrp. Plus, if you register with an lfc branch it's even easier to get tickets - I managed to see some big games last year like city and Chelsea relatively easily.
Yeah mate I know it isn't much but i can still only get 1 ticket at a time and with 3 others who want to come with me would be no good. Can you have 2 members per household?
That's the only downside yea, whoever you take has to be a member too but I'm sure there isn't a household limit. It pays for itself though after a game or two as rrp of a good kop ticket for agood game is about 43quid plus 30 quid membership makes it 73 if you only did one game a season. Plus you get perks like 10% off at the club shop and 3 month lfctv online subscription. If you go to games and are not a season ticket holder it's really a must buy tbh. Hope this helps , sorry I can't properly answer your OP though as I dont know the answer.
Yea but members still get to buy tickets mid season two days before regular tickets go on sale before a game. But obviously you get a better chance if you buy beforehand in the summer and over the christmas period in advance.
You can always get tickets on the day of the match.. just queue up at the box office before it opens (a good few hours before if need be) and loads of tickets for the game will be available. And that includes games versus Man Utd and Everton etc.
Thanks for all your replies fellas Red you said "Plus, if you register with an lfc branch it's even easier to get tickets" what LFC branch's?
It depends where you live but all big cities outside of Liverpool have supporters clubs (ie a designated pub) where fans meet up to chat and watch the game. I lived in Madrid the year before last and so joined the branch there and had a great laugh with the lads there. It costs a fiver to join each year (25 before the all red membership was required) and I'm still a member as it helps their branch out. In terms of tickets, all branches get allocated tickets dependent on their size and so it's generally easier to get a ticket if you're signed up to a branch. I also must mention that some of the fans there would even have season tickets and would take an Easyjet flight to Liverpool for EVERY home game...
