Refereeing isn't just about sticking to the rule book. You use your common sense. You show a second yellow for that then you lose the players completely. Your game management goes to **** if you send Xhaka off there.

My dislike for them goes back waaay before you were born Tom plus their "fans" are moronic boneheaded thugs on the whole ( I can remember them terrorising kids in the corner of Archers Road in the League Cup S/F in 79)
When we played them in the opening game of our Championship season there were some old Leeds fans leaning across to intimidate kids leaving from the Northam. One of those un-reconstructed clubs when it comes to moronic fan behaviour.
We probably get several million in incentive payments, if nothing else. We can make our own trophy with that!
My old man was running a hotel in Boscombe at the time. He had to barricade the front doors, they were running riot. Smashed his windows the promptly carried on up the road. I've never heard of him talk bad about any other fans.
There's no point being bitter towards Liverpool. Sure they have bought a few of our players, but they are fast becoming one of the greatest teams the Premier League has seen, and it's all down to Klopp. They are going to win the title by some margin, and I wouldn't be surprised if they take the Champs League too. Fair play to them. It was our board that ****ed us over, not theirs. I'd rather see Saints fans congratulating them, than trying pathetically to get a rise out of them, when we have far bigger problems to deal with.
Van Dijk can **** off though. And Lovren. Otherwise, I have no animosity towards anyone connected with that club.
