If I was cynical I would say it was a cheap option for the Board. However given the results and the way the team has played, surely GC has to be given a go??

 

I be surprised if GC dont get it. Risk upsetting the squad further.

 

According to a tweet on Bristol Rovers @ Bristol Rovers twitter someone is saying according to Sky Bristol Rovers are to interview Ben Garner of Crystal Palace for the managers job, cant see anything on Sky transfer rumours about it

 

Hope they don't take a risk with Garner. He might be decent, but he would need to hit the ground running, and it's a big ask for someone new to the club who's never managed in League One.

 

GC has done a great job so far, If I was on the board he would get my vote, 6 month contract extended for a further two years if we stay in league 1

 

Two entries on Bristol Rovers hashtag stating that GC will be announced as the new managers sometime this weekend. I will be very pleased if it is correct and it will be interesting to see if the new players he wants to bring in arrive

 

No one can doubt what he has done for us so far so I think he deserves to the end of the season and take it from there.

Fair play to him. He deserves a shot until the summer but I am shocked to see him get a 2 and a half year deal!

CJS I totally agree with you a very honest interview interesting to note that he is also saying if players come in then others have to go out
