Park the bus will the Millers then our mob need to find a way through them. Boring 0-0 comes to mind.
Perhaps even a fleet of buses and I can see a boring game with an unpredictable outcome. I know that playing against a team desperate for any points will be a difficult task but in reality we should blow them off the park - but somehow I doubt that it will happen. A good manager will know how to combat the away team parking the bus and now it's up to Lee to prove his worth without excuses.
Lee has already proven many times over that he has no idea how to break down teams who park the bus. We will need a bit of luck to scrape a win today.
Taylor and Fammy are a combination capable of breaking down a parked bus. Hopefully they will do it this time.
we need to give them a surprise ... not what they expect to line up! they come to park the bus? so we give them 5 passengers to jump on it mo, fammy, niclas odowda and Patty we play 3-5-2 [ 3 - 4 - 1 - 2] keep weimann Ade l taylor in reserve go 4-0 up in first half and finish off 6-0 ..... gosh that box of liquers were strong ...hic....lol HNY
There are no gimmies in the Championship, & I don't want to be disrespectful of a Rotherham side that are doing decent to not be in the bottom three...but... We really need to win this today - our points return has been decent enough given the teams we've played recently, but it's not been enough to make proper headway and keep the hope of a playoff spot suitably alive. Diedhiou's doing OK, but he's had quite a few good half chances that, whilst not sitters, better/more in-form strikers would have taken a couple of them, which could be the difference between picking up all three points rather than one. That said, it would be nice if other players were scoring more - Weimann in particular should be able to notch more given his start to season.
Let's hope that this is the game that we finally find some form in front of goal and win going away, but to do that we need half chances turned in to goals.
Wonder if Rotherham will fill the subs bench this time. Honestly can't understand the negativity about the result of this one. City by 3 !
Probably partly a defence mechanism to protect against potential disappointment, but also in recent times we've gone into games against Rotherham expecting to win but only getting a draw. An early goal should help open things up (if we're lucky/good enough to get it).
Well that first half was shocking, does the man at the top not see what we see. We are playing against giants and we just keep pumping in the air. They are in their element the millers defence. We should be 2/3 nil down so far. Amazed it is 0-0 still.
We have no idea how to break them down so far....very poor. Miller's have looked a but dangerous on the break but like us today, have nothing up front. Poor game.
