Retention rate, what retention rate?

Most older coppers retired at 55, and in nursing stress takes it's toll. In the past nurses going through their training were guaranteed a job, but now a days we have a lot of nurses who recognise what they signed up for is not being delivered by the government and we lose the skills to treat the growing queues.

Yeah I meant lack of mate

Interesting thing though in around 2016 there was some sort of questionnaire sent out to nursing staff and around half a million responses were obtained. Around 47% of nursing staff disagreed with the question which was around lines of NHS is understaffed and underfunded.

Can't remember the exact question but I was surprised

Was the survey undertaken by the NHS itself? I always take those with a pinch of salt personally.

You’ve got that the wrong way round. 47% felt that they were understaffed.

Actually my bad

@Tobes is correct

Out of 409,000 responses, 47 per cent of staff said they disagreed or strongly disagreed with the statement: “There are enough staff at this organisation for me to do my job properly.”

Only 30 per cent agreed or strongly agreed with the same statement.

It was 30% who agreed. Still suprising
