Goal diference has only ever counted once in title race to my little knowledge lol.

Point matter more than goal diference.

Spurs could end up better goal diference than us and city yet finish in 3rd.

All true but it plays into your tactics as the season draws to a close I feel the title race is tight. It may not matter in the end but it can have an impact on how you play if you have an inferior goal difference and are level on points with a few games to go.

In terms is the final table, yes. In mentality leading to the final table?

For example, we went suicidal against Palace after losing to Chelsea in the Suarez season.

I think that was more to do with having a stubborn manager in brendan than going suicidal.

We should have changed formation or players when in front but his ego took over and it backfired.

I think it was every bit as much to do with the players as the manager.

Remember when they spent weeks defending Holgate as being the most honest person in the world while admitting there wasn't a shred of evidence supporting his allegation against Firmino?

Here they basically say Salah is a diver but there wasn't enough evidence that he dived on this occasion.

Don't be surprised to see some shocking decisions go against us in the next two games and the media just brush it off as "evening out the soft penalty against Newcastle"

I think it was one of the referees not involved in the match who had suggested it. Ridiculous suggestion and was never going to happen as the match referee obviously "saw" the incident and gave the penalty. I believe that it is only referred for retrospective action if the referee did not see it and didn't act.

Remember when they banned Oumar Niasse for 2 games for supposedly diving to win a penalty?

Yes. It's now been rejected by the FA on the basis there was actual contact and that satisfies their "threshold" for simulation.
