    Welsh National doesn’t look a vintage renewal with very few progressive sorts in the field.

    My two against the field are Elegant Escape and Ramses De Teillee. Hardly groundbreaking selections!!

    Two of last three years have been won by old horses. However looking back it has been dominated by 8 year olds and horses who are less exposed.

    Interesting to see the going as Soft, I’d expected some heavy in the reading!
