I reckon Warnock’s still on the sherry. What sort of a team has he picked today? Back 5, a bizarre central midfield and a rare chance for Reid. Disappointing that both Zahore and Paterson are seemingly injured. Ps. Didn’t mean to press off topic
Been out for a couple of hours - just got back in and saw the side. Looks very experimental to me, but something had to change. Let's hope this is it. @ninian opinion I'll change the thread prefix to Match Day Thread........
With a front 3 consisting of 3/7ths of Snow White' s friends does that mean we will play the ball on the ground today? Bamba to mark Zaha? Permanently I hope.
OK, just had a look at this on B365, so here we go for this one............ £20 on Cardiff/Draw double chance @ 13/10 to return £46 (or nothing) £10 on Cardiff win @ 11/2 to return £65 (or nothing) £10 on Camarasa to score any time @ 11/2 to return £65 (or nothing) £5 on Morrison to score any time @11/1 to return £60 (or nothing) £5 on Bamba to score any time @11/1 to return £60 (or nothing) That's 50 quid on - now let's see what comes back - probably all nothings...
How can Zahore be injured after a 20 minute run out last Saturday? Any news on his and Pato’s injuries?
We simply must play it on the floor today - there is the pace in this side to get behind them. No Gunnar probably means we wont have the long throws into the box either - about time we changed that anyway.
But like the West Ham game, all home side for 25 minutes then City came back and but for some composure by Reid and then Harris, could have nicked a goal. The worry is the gaping gaps in central midfield which palace are exploiting to shoot. I’m again not convinced by Ralls. I’d prefer Damour. Take him off for Arter. I’d give Mendez a run out for either Hoilett or Harris.
Palace with a lot more attempts but only 1 on target compared to our 3. Ours is the only goal less game in the prem today. Wouldn't be unhappy if it stayed that way.
Great to get a clean sheet & point but how did Bruno not score with last kick Harris also had a great chance but over 90 minutes a fair result. Gives the team some much needed confidence but next 2 games will be a bridge too far
I'm happy with the point. Huddersfield play Fulham on the weekend, so that point is valuable as we'll stay above both whatever their result. Having to play two teams that beat Man City back to back (the week after they beat them) is a challenge.
Huddersfield also have to play Burnley as well. If only we could get something v Leicester (back to back wins v Chelsea & Man City) and/or Spurs (11 goals in 2 games)......
Hmmm.......nearly a draw for me as well but I'll settle for 50 on and 46 back as long as we got a point. We live to fight another day eh?
