i don't think bailey has a position problem.i seriously see a goalie who is slow and not athletic enough.he is not a top of the table goalie.nice enough lad but it's a no from wakey.please spend tight arse rads.
Haven’t seen it yet but not the first time he’s been caught out. He’ll be buying Roofe a beer tonight. New no. 1 required it seems. Best chance in years and we can’t afford to have the outfield players bailing him out. Bailing Peacock-Farrell
Agree that he’s some way off the finished article, but his reactions and reflexes are the highlight of his game - if he was lacking in athletic ability I doubt that would be the case. His issues are 100% positioning and judging the flight of the ball from distance. He routinely pulls off excellent reaction saves from close range, but he’s been at fault for a few howlers hit from long range, and is often all at sea from corners and free kicks whipped into the box. Only time will tell if he can work on these issues, but even De Gea suffered with similar issues when he first arrived in England, and look at him now. Far too early to write BPF off. If we can get someone better in January, we absolutely should, but for a young man in what is really his first full season as a professional, he’s done a decent job.
I'm back. I was listening to the scores coming in on talk sport on my drive back home. Heart sank when Blackburn scored in injury time. I can't actually believe it.
Yeah, He'd be taking pelters again if we hadn't fought back. But as Kiwi says, he's a work in progress, and he got away with it today.
Just got in, driving back from Xmas visit. So had a look at the score - hmm so we won as expected .... 3-2 a bit close ...... better look at when they scored, expect it was 3-1 and they got a late consolation goal.....oh.... ****ing ell ..... glad I didn’t see that, the old ticker is not strong enough Bloody funny reading the comments over the last few minutes, on here, btw
