There are no certainties in life, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this match....how great would 3 wins in a row be, especially with City coming up....however, I am confident that we will play a lot better under Ralph's guidance. And that is what he promised us...that we'd like what we saw.
You know Ralph is doing a good job when your 1st* thought on christmas morning is the next saints game. *Okay maybe it was 2nd after pigs in blankets but the point stands!
My first thought was my holiday sailing round the Scottish islands in a luxury boat....then realised I had dreamt it. My second thought was why aren't we playing on Boxing Day That made me realise that I was actually pleased Saints had a game....that's a first for a long time.
I am actually pleased that we aren’t playing Boxing Day, simply because I will be working. My shift is normally 5am - 1pm, but for one day only the depot post Christmas opening time is 8am meaning I would miss most of the game, were it played at 3pm. Selfish I know, but I don’t want to miss a minute of the New Saints.
My thought for today: "Only the mediocre are always at their best" so apologies for some of my dreadful posts this year.
It's hard to see them not scoring, but with us at home and the lads hitting their stride we may just be able to edge a win here. So I'm gonna cross all my appendages go with 2-1.
Noble is fast becoming a liability. No problem with him starting against us, just hope a few of the others don't make it. Still, if we start with the same application and desire as our last two games, I truly believe it doesn't matter what WHU turn up, we'll beat them!
I would rather not rush Bertrand back and make sure he is fit for the Man City game. Targett v Sterling's pace would be terrifying!
West Ham's defence could be pressed into making mistakes, however their wily oldsters such as Noble and Hernandez may cause problems. Following calls for tolerance: Happy Christmas to all, even including West Ham and Portsmouth fans !
Noble? Noble who? He was substituted after 56 minutes against Watford because he was so crap, he probably won't even start!
