if he doesn't sign a new contract by Jan 1st he can sign a pre agreement with a continental club for free, and we have lost him, or leaves for free at the end of the season a-la the ginger Colback.
Disappointed if true but not really surprised. These young kids just can't see past their next large payslip.
we must have contingency plans as there has been rumours of a new striker probably why he didn't play at the weekend
So the mirror print a story (remember their sister paper is the chronic) then five hours later the chronic print another saying its bull according to our owner. Does anyone actually pay for this manipulative crap. Ps Wednesday's headline "Newcastle in for Maja"
Although it turns out it’s bull... he couldn’t leave fir free like Colback as he’s under 24 so we’d have hit a fee. That said it’d be nowhere near his value
So everything is up in the air,if Maja's head has been turned by a few journralists reports there is little we can do. However the grass is not always greener elsewhere, he should take a look at his former team mate Osoro, who might be earning a higher wage at Swansea but getting no game time, and, as is doing his future prospects no good whatsoever warming the bench week in week out.. If his advisers have any sense they would advise him to stay get more game time under his belt which will only be an enhancement, and should a real good offer come in for the lad, then i feel sure the club would not stand in his way.As things stand at the moment Swansea are a mid table championship club and we could be playing them next season.Should Maja go to a, Premier league club i fail to see who would play hit the moment. He is far from the finished article.
sadly i see another Colback here, hope the lad sees sense but i doubt it,truth is he hasnt signed another contract Charlie has been chasing him for months to sign a new one, he didn't play saturday and we have the same scenario as Osoro. Too many coincidences to try and brush this one off.
Good for chip paper and **** all else. We don't need tabloids with our owner. We get the truth from the best source we could ever wish for. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
I wouldn't say that. Stu already confirmed contract talks are positive and advanced. Don't let the gutter press give you the fear mate Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
I think he will sign, probably with a release clause. A few goals in League One does not make a top player, but if he carries that on in the Championship then maybe. I know we are biased but he’s playing regularly for the biggest club his ability allows him to right now, he’s not quite ready for Championship but momentum with us would carry him forward, if he went somewhere like Leeds for example, a club that is as big or a little bigger than us, he likely wouldn’t play.
hope you boys are right, would hate another Asoro saga, young lads these days can have their heads turned to easy
What makes Leeds bigger than us? History, historical levels of support etc would put us ahead of Leeds..
