What a game, what a comeback, what a performance, what a reaction.

After going 2-0 down, at halftime I said if we get an early goal we can beat Villa 3-2, if we up a couple of gears and play like we know they can. PHEW!, we did, but left it till last minute.

Bielsa said to lads at halftime, something along the lines of, if we get an early goal we can beat'em.

This game will surely go down as one of our greatest comebacks, along with some of the comebacks I posted at end, especially the Southampton game.

Can't really say much as most on here watched the game, and I'm sure some thought we were on to a hiding at halftime, at 2-0 down even I thought we were going to get hammered. I started to change my mind as we were in control of the game towards halftime, and we had most of possession.

In games like this, you got to give Bielsa full credit for getting the team fit. Towards end of game, about the last 20 mins, AV were knackered, and we were all over'em.

Jack Clark's goal, shades of Eddie Gray in that goal, and well taken too. Full credit to lad for having the confidence to take on the defenders, and go round'em.

Harrison should be shipped back, especially for being at fault for the second goal.full stop.

Davis did a good job at LB considering he was picked to start at last minute. He's a good LB in the making. Given the way Douglas has played, and the way Davis played v AV, I say give Davis more opportunities.

We played down both wings more in this game, and 2 of our goals came from both sides.

Alioski played a better game cos he was brought into the game by the likes of Klich, Pablo and Forshaw etc. He now has another assist to his name, if they give it him. Great ball from Klich, Alioski went inside the defender, looked up and put in a pass that eventually allowed Roof to score the winner.

    Without any malice.

I said Roof should've carried on running towards ball, the pass was perfectly placed for him to run onto it, and possibly score cos he was in front of the defender with only keeper to beat.

Some said Roof wouldn't have got to that cross in a month of Sundays...........sorry lads, highlights show otherwise..........If you watch it closely, you'll see after Alioski crossed it Roof stops but, the defender kept running, coming from behind Roof and managed to get the ball; if the defender could (they were knackered too) then Roof could've as well.

As it happened, it played in our favour thanks to a mistake by the defender, and it fell for Roof to score the last minute winner, however, if the defender had headed the ball properly, it could well have been a draw because Roof stopped......This is why I call Roof half lazy, he does have a slight problem in judging crosses and the flight of the ball, you can see that in nearly every game, and tends not to chase for balls that the likes of Alioski and co would.

Brilliant game to watch, brilliant comeback, our heads are held high, and confidence should be boosted going into the Christmas period and the second half of season.

41,000,00 at Villa Park, Rads, we need more seats.

    10 mins of highlights.

7 mins of highlights but foreign commentary.

Bielsas post match interview, but no sound, the person who recorded it didn't have his sound set up.
It's the same on the Leeds United website as well.

Roof and Forshaw post match interviews

    Wainmanjoe having orgasms.

Jack Clark talks to Eddie Gray post match.

More info on Saiz situation from Bielsa

Couple of comeback games from past.

Versus Norwich again. Should've kept Silvestri, bad management decision.

Then there's this one v Derby in 1997.

Then this brilliant game v Southampton. I always remember this game cos the commentator said (at 3-3) Leeds wouldn't dare win it, would they.

Watching it back again and again, I think Alioski under hit the cross, I have a feeling it was meant for Forshaw and Roofe anticipated ball at feet or a header down from the intended target, either way it resulted in all the points.

I was probably harsh on Alioski yesterday, I watched it back again and he did some neat stuff

Alioski had his mostproductive game for a while. He does a lot of work chasing back and tackling which seems to go unnoticed because we only seem to see him running offside. He was great yesterday and think he took on more responsibility because we had Davies on.

Davies did well but dont think hes as good as Tom Pearce. Remember how we were raving about him last season even during the catastrophy of Heckingbottom. Pearce has been injured and on his way back so for me he will be understudy to Douglas, another almost new player coming back with Berardi and Cooper.

Will post this story here rather than the transfer sticky, but now heard it twice and according to Alan Nixon who is usually ITK we are doing a deal with Everton for Mason Holgate who is a CB/RB. Unless Silva has a rethink after the Spuds battering. He is a first team squader and great prospect, but I thought we had enough in defence?

In regards to Holgate maybe one eye on possible promotion? Has Bielsa seen something in him he likes, at 22 he can only get better or it could be more lazy journalism or agent driven news.

We’re sitting top of the league with a respected coach in charge, if you were an agent drumming up interest just say Leeds United and Bielsa are interested and a dozen other teams will sit up and take note.

I like Alioski, but come on, there is absolutely no way Roofe is getting on the end of that ball at the end. It was clearly intended for Forshaw, as Ristac pointed out, but woefully under-hit. Roofe had the intelligence and nous to pick up the best possible position should Villa make a hash of what should’ve been a routine clearance - and thank god he did.

Calling Roofe lazy is laughable, his pressing is outstanding at times.

Come to think of it, calling any of this team lazy is absurd, they never stop running.

Their defender come from round back of Roof and got to ball, and he was knackered.

I said Roof is half lazy.

I think you're a bit off regarding Alioskis cross and Roof.

Bielsa does not seem to rate halme doc preferring kalvin as a starter at villa. Would make sense to me if he is good quality. Beradi is our utility man so is usefull across back four. It pays to have cover.
