Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP 27m27 minutes ago Douglas was ill and "felt weak" during the warm-up. "He told us that he wasn't feeling well and I took the decision not to put him in the team." #lufc
Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP 27m27 minutes ago Bielsa says Bamford in training yesterday jumped to head the ball and felt something in his knee. "We think it's not a serious injury. As it is not serious, we think he will come back a lot faster than with the previous one. In the next day we will know."
Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP 30m30 minutes ago Bielsa's reaction: "We were very ambitious. We made a lot of effort. We played against a team who are very strong. From the first 15 minutes of both halves, we were good. We deserved to win the game and the performance of the players were all very good." #lufc
Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP 45m45 minutes ago Dean Smith: "I thought they were probably better than us but I thought a draw would have been a fair result." Says Leeds are the best side Villa have played under him. Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP 44m44 minutes ago Smith: "From the celebrations I thought they'd won the title but we're halfway through the season. I congratulated Marcelo Bielsa. He's a humble guy."
We all see things differently Davis will be good but we missed Douglas today, Davis needs to put a bit of muscle on, no doubt he will do and he will be better for the experience. Alioski wasn't great today and it was criminal how easy he kept straying offside giving up possession and I still think it was a poor pass and Forshaw had a stinker first half but others will see it differently, that's what forums are all about

Just back from the game....Kin ell.. 2-0 down at ht & I wanted to go home..to win the game like that is beyond my wildest dreams....today is my birthday & Mrs 10 wants to take me to the pub to celebrate...doesnt get much better than this...
Talking of loan players, we get Harrison and Baker, Villa get Tammy Abraham - JFH on Sky pointed out that if Leeds had managed to get someone like Abraham we'd be already promoted by now.
And to put yet another opinion across, I thought Alioski was far, far better than he has been in recent weeks. Looked dangerous when he got on the ball, and showed more willingness to commit opposition players. Looked better on the right, too. That said, I agree that the cross/pass (whatever it was) for the third goal was ****ing woeful. Roofe could've been Usain Bolt and he was never getting on the end of it - thankfully El-Mohamady's clearance was even worse than the ball in
Out of all the palyers we have at our disposal, I would still pick Alioski in my starting 11, again though JFH picked up a good point, Hutton was slow and he wondered how he would have faired against the pace of Clarke had we switched Clarke and Alioski over, glad we never in the end as the result would have been very different.
If you had to listen to Brissie, you find that he believes he could make your day much more memorable. ..... for him, probably!
