Bowen - Pure class. Too bad he'll be gone in January.
Elphick - A real leader. Hope he stays.
Grosicki - Dangerous every time he had the ball.

Honourable mentions.....Campbell and Irvine...Both worked their butts off. Always closing down the opposition.

The amount of times I said ‘if our midfield worked as hard as Campbell we’d be ok’. Hence why non of the midfielders get in my top 3.

The work rate through our the team was great to see and Campbell leads by example, for ever chasing and harrising defenders.

Campbell and Irving never stopped running and Grosiki a real threat, just needs to pick the right final ball more.

Baffled by people naming Grosicki apart from going on a decent run in each half, he was dire, his shooting is like a 2 year old in the garden. He’s a luxury player, but sadly we don’t have many alternatives.

Hard to pick three today. I thought we played really well. Bowen essentially won us the game. That third goal was insane; I thought we were defending a counter attack and he'd done well to diffuse that, then suddenly he was bending it in the corner after taking on half of their team.

Stewart is a completely new player. Since he came on against Forest a few weeks ago he's looked completely different. He's making tackles and interceptions like the combative midfielder we thought we were getting 18 months ago. Very curious how he was so bad for so long. I bet there must have been something seriously wrong with his physical or mental state because he was a joke before and now he's a valuable asset. I think he might start to get a run in the side soon, maybe at the expense of Batty.

Elphick was excellent too. That header was peak Michael Turner-esque, and he led by example at the back too. It was great to see the commitment from him and others to defending that lead once we got it.

Campbell's just such a pain now he's fully fit. Defenders don't get time to settle, and the penalty award was entirely down to him chasing a ball that many players wouldn't have done. I think there's a lot of value in that for a striker.

Like others I'm a bit baffled by the Grosicki votes. Today was one of his better games, but he still tempers every good moment with a ridiculously speculative shot which ultimately disappears down the stadium's corner access point or an inexplicable decision when faced with a single defender and the ball at his feet. I think Kamil's biggest strength is how often he gets in those positions; he sees far more of the ball in threatening areas of space than Bowen does. Tonight he got his head down a few times and just beat the defenders for sheer pace. Too often he stops and holds it up for no good reason, then seems to confuse himself with his own hesitancy and ultimately does nothing before the ball is nicked away from him. He did that less today, but he still could do so much more with the numerous opportunities he gets to run at defenders.

Bit harsh that, he was a vital outlet throughout imo and can be forgiven the rest.

I can see why people have voted Grosicki. The full length of the pitch run and shot that was saved by the Swansea keeper was excellent. But we don’t see enough of that on a regular basis. He has that ability in his locker - we need to see it more often.

I understand your point about Grosicki but many times, somebody will just pass him the ball and expect him to beat 5 players. He'd get past a couple but then get crowded out.

There’s no doubt that the upswing in our form has coincided with Grosicki getting his mojo back. I put Bowen as man-of-the-match, but Grosicki for me was up there too. I can’t understand those of you who don’t understand why he’s in people’s top 3. Swansea were terrified of him and - despite the fact he can be frustrating - for me he was the major reason we turned it round.

12 of #hcafc’s last 13 goals have either been scored or created by Jarrod Bowen or Kamil Grosicki. Feels kind of* important they stick around in January. *massively
