I think you’re being generous with use of the word ‘crowd’. It was a small gathering, and it’s more depressing to see the swathes of empty seats than the early season quality of football. #allamout
I used to think he was a right tinker but now I don't so he must have stopped. He actually said in his aftermatch thingy "I was actually going to pick the same starting 11 but Henry had a runny poo poo" in his little exited voice as if to say yeah me the same 11 as if I ever do that, anyway once a tinker always a tinker so I presume he'll revert back at some point
It was a brilliant second half and well done to Nige at half time for whatever he said and the change he made. But can anyone explain why he always plays Martin ahead of Dicko? He’s painfully slow, and chases nothing, he looks completely disinterested and if we weren’t so low on numbers, I think there’d be a clamour to send him back next month.
I thought Martin did ok when he came on. Held the ball up and showed some nice touches. Kingsley had a poor game yesterday.
But I do and don't really have time to answer questions were the answer is obvious. Martin is ****e, Dicko isn't much better but he has more running in him. Crazy thought why not leave Campbell on for the last 5 and leave the winning team settled. (tinkerer)
Agree with both. Hopefully with Kingsley it's just ring rust. Martin, clever player. Pace isn't his game. But it was a bad miss.
Knowing Nige he is desperately trying to build Martin's confidence. He clearly thinks (for whatever reason) that Martin is close to breaking his duck, and that might be all he needs to go on a run. Seems like he see's more from him in training than we do in games.
Dicko would be a direct replacement for Campbell, as they're both energetic hard working forwards. Martin is different to that in every way, but what he does do is get physical with defenders. Our odds of getting a penalty improve with him on the pitch, as they're slim to none (which is surprising when you consider the type of flying winger Grosicki is) without him. I'd happily have him as a squad player but as OLM said, were the financial circumstances different, he'd be gone and replaced. Keane, as useless as a marzipan dildo, at least puts a bit of effort in. He'll be gone in January too.
Keane won't be going anywhere in January no One wants him. Don't forget he was signed as on a premier league contract. He'll be one of our highest paid players. No ones taking him off our hands till he's a free agent. Bury would be my guess or scully third team
I think we'll loan him out as his contract is up at the end of the season. He won't be on massive wages, I'd be surprised if he was on more than £20k p/w in the PL. We don't know if teams are interested in him or not, I think somebody will take a punt on him as a loan.
That's the worry now though isn't it , no sale of the club and the owners selling anybody worth selling
