    I've not long been back from 'Uddersfield. Took a flier and went up and had to go in with their lot. Their fans were a laugh and, is often the way with fans of clubs outside the big boys, understood football. General view was that they have played better, but thought that we made them look ****e rather than them being just ****e, if you see what I mean.

    Ended up in a grotty pub talking football. They want to buy Ings, so I set a price of £300m. The whip round in the bar didn't quite get to that, so I don't think I need to tell the board.

    Train journey home really crap, but who cares? Sometimes football can be just so great. G'night all.

    11 - but he has played more. If you look at minutes per goal, it's very close.

    Salah 135 minutes per goal

    Ings 137 minutes per goal

    Only Aubamayang, Sterling, Martial, and Aguero are above Danny for this.

    Listening to solent they said that Ings and Austin were chuffed to bits when Obafemi scored, which adds to the enjoyment and further shows a togetherness.

    Let us not underestimate the impact that goal could have on the Obi Wan, especially coming so soon after The Messiah arrived, coming on in the game and narrowly fluffing his lines just prior respectively. He now knows that he can do it at this level and that degree of confidence in a young striker can quickly yield a glut of goals. I cannot wait to see him flourish as he clearly has a knack for finding space already.

    Interesting to see how we cope with this new level of pressing and energy over 4 games in 11 days. Can’t wait to see how he gets us to play v an out of form Chelsea and ManC <laugh>
