Not specifically, just a general comment about political refugees. I expect they’re all parasites in your eyes though, so don’t worry.

And if they aren’t able to leave legally, due to the oppressive nature of their home country?

Or don't have the months or years necessary for processing their application for residency, because it's too dangerous?

Don't knock genuine refugees guys..........Thats not right. If their plight is genuine of course. Sadly it is the others, the ones that want to slip in by the back door who are not genuine.....and their organisers.

The referendum was long overdue. I am stillupset we were not offered a proper say on the Lisbon Treaty that changed the game for our 'integrated'membership of the EU. Had things remained akin to the EEC then I don't believe we would be here today with a deeply divided nation. Some might argue Lisbon was about Euro geo political stabilisation but I rail against the notion of a federalised Europe.

So no the referendum was need.

Oh and BTW I'm not racist or biggoted just because I think in a different way (thats for St. Godders if he is reading this)

The Lisbon Treaty was what actually put paid, finally, to the idea of a federalised Europe.

Here's the bloke who wrote the Lisbon Treaty and who wrote a book about how it put an end to the idea of a federal Europe:
