Kevin Stewart was quality tonight, looks like a genuine 4m central midfielder, Evandro needs to stay fit....class act. No way one of Bowen or Turbo isn't getting flogged in Jan, both cracking players. Villa would be insane not to recall Elphick and stick him straight in their back 4.

Echo the above thoughts about Stewart , looked like he had never seen a football before a few months ago but that was the kind of performance expected when he signed

First game I've seen on TV since August thanks to ESPN's EFL streaming. Thought we were outclassed for most of the first half, but our fitness and energy levels really showed with 3 goals in 10 minutes after 70 minutes. Just dominated them for the last 25 minutes. Irvine and Campbell chased every ball. Grosicki made some great runs and should have had a couple of goals. Bowen was a class above...sadly he'll go for 10 mill + in January. First time I've seen Elphick and he was superb. Stewart looked good as did Evandro for the last 20. Overall I was impressed with the teams attitude and togetherness. Great job Nigel...hope you get some support from management in the Window. You and the team deserve it ! Well done lads...great 3 points. !!!! Lets hope we have some luck against Preston this time.

Great effort again by City. Come back from a goal down and slam in three in 10 mins. It’s easy this football lark. Seriously really well done today and will make the wine taste better too.

Hull rose three places to 16th in the table, 10 points off the play-off spots while Swansea stayed 12th, four points above the Tigers.

One thing Nige deserves credit for is us coming back when we go a goal down. Not always the case in recent times.

I was very critical of Adkins but he has done a great job, great to see I gave him the kick up the arse he needed. Also great to see him playing Grosicki and Bowen every week, just play them and let them attack, they might not track back but its worked a treat going forwards.

We still lack significant squad depth but that isn't Nigel's fault, for the first time I would back him with a bit of money as clearly a bit more depth and we could be in the top half.

16th and 8 points clear of 22nd. That would have seemed mad in mid-October. Good result tonight after a shaky fist half hour. Merry Christmas to all on here :emoticon-0148-yes:

It would be the hallmark of a churl to carp about tonight, yet that serial **** 'TigerDoy' has done it as per on the post match text in on Mudbank.

Instead of relishing our new found resilience and espreet da core, this negative turd can only focus on the negatives and imperfections.

I think we are doing great given the **** around the club, and two months ago we would have lost that game. For once we have been decent in a televised game.

Adkins has instilled a belief, a pattern and created a Group. They celebrate the goals together, the bench erupts- there looks a be a total buy-in at the moment.

We still have weaknesses in the squad and players who need to improve, but we are getting better every game and the table is starting to reflect that.

I confess to not having been a massive fan or his persona, but he is getting the job done now he has feet under the table.

All credit to him for that.

    HURRAH for HAL. .
