.......in all the history of Bristol derbies....City have hammered....... * 6 passed the "gasheads" once.... * 5 passed the "gasheads" three times... * 4 passed the "gasheads" six times... .......the "gasheads" hammered passed the City..... * 5 just once..... * 4 just three times.... So historically Bristol City have come out on top again...... Up the City......... http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/page/BristolDerbies/0,,10328,00.html
WOOP WOOP i think in pre season this year we should do some sort of south west cup city rovers swindon exeter plymouth etc... so obvious we will win
here we go again. since your existance, thats 1982 by the way, you have put 4 past us once and we put 4 past you twice. so again we have come out on top having the better record on head to heads since your club was formed
Shiny you could do it as a Round Robin!!! with a twist...you play all your fixtures on a neutral ground example City v Rovers on Yeovils ground Yeovil v City on Rovers ground City v Plymouth on Exeter's ground etc etc etc, oh hang on should that be City v Rovers on etc ground etc v City on Rovers ground ....lol
Ever since we've played at Ashton Gate, is that too complicated.....? please log in to view this image
If this was based on your performance during pre season then the Gas would have won the South West cup and city would be holding the wooden spoon!!
If you're going to constantly repeat old facts, how about a football team who win matches because their players take bribes... Boring and pointless innit.......
Good idea re the SW Cup - I bet the Police would love it! Another problem is that Rovers, Swindon and Plymouth are all in Division 4 so would not want to play each other - no reason why we could not play against "lower league opposition" though?
All people really want is City vs Rovers is it not? Two legs to keep everyone happy, this is the only way these teams will sell out for a friendly without attracting a Man Utd or Liverpool. Winner gets to hold the Bristol Cup until next year, any funny business from the fans and the event is scrapped and not to be reconsidered for a decade. That would keep the vast majority on the straight and narrow.
Quite correct there chris-gashead. we are the biggest club in this part of the world. I've got a better idea, why dont you all just break away from England and become Welsh, you know that England is ****, join us
