Yeah, sorry didn't really make that clear.

You need to book it as two singles. You might need to click on the hyperlink for cheap, slow trains underneath the initial times it gives you and select "advance single £10"

Yes the Terrace is back and behind the goal as well. I am there via the train wiv me pals. Going early for pre-match drinks and then late train back after a meal and more drinks in downtown Peterboro. May as well make a day of it. UTT

Driving down on the Saturday, then staying over weekend.
Haven't decided yet on what route to take. A15, A1 or M1.

The AA give the following Beverley to Peterboro:-

    via a15: 101 miles - 2hr 27mins.
    via Lincoln bypass and A1: 119 miles - 2hr 27mins.
    via A1: 131 miles - 2hr 36mins.
    via M1 and Nottingham: 149 miles - 3hr 04mins.
    via M1 and Leicester: 160 miles - 3hr 18mins.

Don't particularly like the single cart tracks of Lincolnshire, the M1 options gives a chance to laugh at the locals in Notts and Lester, but was thinking more towards the the A1.

Error above, the AA gives your route as 119 miles and 2hrs 47 mins. If your doing it in 1hr 30mins what sort of car do you use?

Husbands BMW or my 4 x 4 normally. But this time we are doing it by train so we can all have a few drinks.

Even if you do a mile a minute that should only take you 119minutes = 1hr 59mins. Think the AA have been in the juice already with 2hrs 47mins. It should not take you more than 2 hours normally.

True, they seem to being very low on speed - think they using fuel economy speed (or they need to update since the old days of having someone walking in front of the car with a warning flag).

yes very true. i just go by past trips and the roads available now. i did an AA auto route to Tottenham 2 years ago and the route they took me from my house to the ground was crazy. Peterboro is one of the simpler grounds to get to.

God damn it, I live 20 sodding miles from Pboro and have to take my poxy daughter to Luton Airport, leaving at 3pm. To make it worse I despise Luton, and have since we were in competition with them, and I had to endure Newell 2 or 3 times a week on local news whining about ****. Best day ever was being at the KC when we did them 4-0!
