Hi everyone, I have recently come into possession of a load of 1985 Saints centenary memorabilia either from the Golf match or the centenary dinner (which was in 1986). I can make out some of the signatures but not all. Anyone have any ideas? I won't say which ones I have guessed. :emoticon-0138-think

Some good guesses there! Didn't have Steve Williams. Which one do you think is Steve Moran? :emoticon-0128-hi:

Steve Moran could be the one by Bobby Stokes and Ted Bates. Seems like Steve something and he was the only one I could think of.

From memory Steve Moran had a really neat signature that was easy to read (he was one of my 80s heroes). Bit like Malcolm Waldron (neat signature not hero).

Oh and forgot to say...Welcome back Whitely!

So we've got on Page 1
    Paul Gilchrist
    Steve Williams
    Danny Wallace
    Jimmy Case
    Steve Moran
    Bobby Stokes
    Ted Bates
    Ian Turner

    Page 2
    Chris Nicholl
    Alan Ball
    David Armstrong
Glenn Cockrill (possibly - Is anyone sure?)

That leaves 2 on the first page not guessed. I was told who one was but no idea about the other. The one I was told is on the left and is scribbled rather than his normal neat hand.

Many years ago my daughter worked at the Nat West Bank where Richer Sounds is today and many of the Saints players banked there as it was the nearest Bank to the Dell. If anyone would recognise the signatures she should. When I next see her I will ask her.

I see Best Wishes has signed twice. He was a hell of a player.
