Maybe it is the Allams that want to do a land deal before the sale goes through, not the new buyers?

But they want it for only £2.99 a square yard!

    That's right, only £2.99 a square yard!

    But hurry, ends soon!

    I miss the olden days.

It was a more innocent, some would say more blissfully naive, time.

    Nothing was complicated.

No indicative vote to ascertain the likely outcome of a real ****ing vote nonsense.

No calling a spade an agricultural earth-removing implement.

No calling a spade an African coloured gentlem... (Joke, joke, joke. Sorry)

    Anyway, I liked the past.

    We did things differently there.

Do they want to place erections on the land or shag it?

Not big enough, you’d have to tarmac half of it and half the people at the fair come from out of town and it’s terrible to get to.

<laugh> Reminds me of my oldest lad, if he ever stood in dog muck he used to throw the shoes/trainers, since I found out I’ve had some belting footwear from him <cheers>

East Park is nearly all grass
Some torrential rain and it would be a quagmire!!

Think we have had this discussion a few times.Current site has historical lenient covenants.
To move site would have to incur massive costs on drains, hard standing electrics etc.
Council considered moving it to Victoria Dock over 20 years ago and the cost was over £3m then

Hull KR have a huge car park, and acres of land to the side of the stadium. I'm also fairly sure the council, along with Uncle Don, part own the stadium, so moving Hull Fair there may be feasible.

Would it not be easier to leave the fair where it is & develop around HKR’s Ground?

Could move it to Welton? Hull Tigers Fair (Welton ltd)

Also a nice plot of land near the Rosedown building, not a lot going on there either ...

Finally there's a small roundabout off Southella Way that has not been developed on yet?

Waltzers would definitely work on that weird little roundabout on Westella Way

If this comes off, I'll definitely get my finger out and fulfill my lifetime ambition of having one of those shooting galleries at the fair. (Billy Bly had one of those sometime after he retired, FACT).

One of the air rifles will look the same as the others but it will really be a long range sniper rifle, the L42A1 and will be out order until someone sporting a NTHT badge whispers 'Your a **** Kemps' in my ear. Mums the word...
