spurs are consistent also rans. you have to see the Leicester season in this picture. while city were scraping home in 4th spurs were imploding and finishing miles off leicester who had a quite low title winning tally. when Chelsea romped the league under Conte there were spurs floating along not actually challenging. when city hammered everyone by 16 points there were spurs distant 3rd. you have to see that every year they go out of the cups early on and are max 2 comps maybe but they never win anything and usually pick up loads of points in last 10 or 14 games.
Pundits, ex-pros, opposition players, fans, etc all keep referring to Robbo as a young player despite him being 24 and signed as a already established PL player. Same with VVD but he's 26. Does this bug anyone else? They're not youngsters ffs!
often they use young when they actually mean "not that well known" . Even heard Trippier referred to like that last year & he is about 28 i think PS not noticed VVD being referred to as young.
Yeah during the world cup it was terrible. Players like Lingarrd and Trippier talked about like they are the future. Ignoring that they will be 30 and 31 in the next world cup. Even Klaim will be 29 and probably his last world cup in Qatar

Not heard anyone describe vvd as young? Most have said that we’ve got a spine in their prime with Allison vvd Hendo/Gini firm salah mane all in their prime
Haven't heard that either but if true I guess traditionally quality defenders are seen as being in the late 20s/early 30s.
