Here's an obscure one............. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...sted-David-Alabas-cousin-Ronald-Sobowale.html
Never heard of him https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-city-cardiff-city-leeds-15559750
There may be legs in this one; hope so https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/cardiff-city-struggler-gary-madine-15558417
Another Prem loan back in the melting pot.................. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...news/transfer-news-cardiff-city-join-15565416
Not sure on that one. Would he fit into the way we play, or would we need to change our style to suit him? Tough one.
not Masky's bollocks this time, just this.................. https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk...mlin-is-back-at-peterborough-united-1-8744365
"Posh have agreed to take Tomlin on loan from Premier League club Cardiff City from January 1 until the end of the season. He trained with the first-team today and will stay with the club while he works his way towards match fitness" Yeah but it will be May before he's fit!
Nearly a year on I am still trying to get my head around how we spent £6 million on Madine. Not sure I ever will
I know. Nearly 12 months on and has not yet troubled the scorers. Has anyone checked to see if he is an ex-Jack. Shades of Dimi Dropolotopous.
The £6M panic purchase of Madine and even the Bobby Reid acquisition cast serious doubts on Warnock's judgement in the striker department. When asked why he'd paid £10M for Reid as a striker, he said he didn't regard him as a striker - WTF is he then?
I think we have the strikers already in the squad, we don’t have a dynamic playmaker that can turn a game in an instant.
Taff we need a striker who has a three way relationship with himself, the ball and the back of the net. At Prem level none of what we have at present has those qualifications. Zohore was not prolific in the Championship and seems to have his own demons; Ward is only a bottom half Championship player at best; according to Warnock, Reid is not a striker (and I agree with him); Madine is........ answers on a postcard please and Paterson, while I love his enthusiasm and the hard time he gives defenders, will never give us the volume of goals we need. Have I missed anyone? Oh yes, Pilks, soon to be on his way I hope but with thanks for what he achieved in the Championship for us. Don't get me wrong someone the likes of Eriksen would be a useful acquisition but other than gambling on a lesser known player we will not easily get a player of half Eriksen's ability. He is stalling on contract terms with Spurs though........ Just waiting for us to swoop?
