Some great goals, slick passing and clever flicks/runs, was very impressed!

Was bloody cold though! And they really need to sort out the stalls for half time drinks, having 3 15 year olds serving is never going to cover it.

 

For 80 minutes an excellent performance with very well taken goals and some fine football but we naturally had to make it a little tricky for ourselves.

Got the 3 points though and that mattered most.

Quina again very impressive in midfield and did Holebas crack a smile when scoring!?

As you say, phew. Only Watford can do that to us. Agreed, Etheridge MOTM. 3-4 excellent saves. Colin moaning about the ref. Mentioned Troy going in hard on Etheridge but there wasn’t any pen decisions, any red card decisions, any offside goal decisions to make so there wasn’t any opportunity for him to get anything major wrong, so can’t understand what he’s moaning about really.

 

Guys on MOTD said Deeney challenge was no worse than a booking ..

Shearer ofcouse said it was a fair effort to go for the ball .

Yes... Cardiff were lucky with their second goal and Warnock deflects from his Team's poor performance by having a go at TD and the ref At WORST TD could have got a booking...

It was more exciting than it needed to be but a good afternoon for the golden boys nonetheless. A special mention for Tom Cleverley - slotted in seamlessly at a time when we were really treading water and you'd never have known it was his first appearance in God knows how long. Such a pro

 

I like the way he really has a bee in his bonnet about us - makes us relevant!

 

Don't worry about him having a particular bee in his bonnet about you DS2 - he is the same after every game, it's just his way.

Also don't worry about Colin's post match stuff being needed to make you relevant - you already are with or without his media outbursts which are just good footage for Sky etc..

Both you and Bournemouth, and to some extent Brighton are what we aspire to be right now. No fancy namby pamby top 8 "elite brigade" aspirations, just a solid presence in this most elitist of Leagues. Doesn't look like we're going to achieve that anytime soon but staying up here this season would be a bloody good start.

 

Agree when he came on he really got stuck in, thou shall not pass attitude.

 

And being of slight Welsh heritage I hope you do, just need the Swans to join you.

It would have been so unjust had they drawn.

I can't remember a game when 4 of the 5 goals were of such quality.
