About this phone call you've had...

I'm the last person you should be asking, in all honesty. I'm the same as you, once I've got a grudge with somebody I can't let it go until I've got 1 up on them.

 

Both stories come into one. Cut a long story short, me and my lass have bought a house thats about 100 years old. Its absoulutey mint but needs work as youd imagine. (Hard with 6 year old twins and a 7 year old step daughter).
We had a lad sand our living room floor boards down and put the first coat of lacker or however you spell it on.
He said the second coat goes on after we decorate and since doing that weve tried contacting him and hes ignoring us. He text me from a random number on Wed night and after ringing that tonight to try get hold of him i got into an argument with one of his mates and im now being forced to stamp on his head tomorow lunch time in Darlington

 

If I was back home, I'd come along with you. I'm up in Scotland until Sunday or Monday, now.

If meeting up with this kid is going to cause problems for you and your lass when you have just bought a house together, then **** it off. Have you paid the lad already to do a second coat? I can help you get somebody to finish that off, no problem.

You can't be ripped off, if it's coming to that I'll give him a call to come out and do a quote at an address we'll get your money back off him then. I'll give you a call when I'm coming back. I think you should apologise to Spurlock, btw. He was only trying to help you before, mate.

 

What I'm trying to say is don't let it bother you. There's more than one way to skin a cat. It'll get sorted one way or another.

 

Apologisr for what?? He told me to get stoned and shag some birds which is all well and good but this is a serious thread and im talking about serious shyte going on in my life so i feel his comment was disrespectful so he should apologise to me

Spurlock hasn't got any malice in him, I speak with him every day. That's his honest advice, I know what he's like. It's what he would do.

He thinks a lot of your old fella, so I know he wouldn't have said it to piss you off. To you it was **** advice, I get that. He's never done it to piss you off and that's what counts. I think you're just wound up at the moment, so anything will be getting to you.

Ok fair dos. I had my reservations about him a couple of years ago but he does seem a sound lad and i apologise if ive over reacted. I just felt like he was taking tbe pish out of my situation, and why shouldnt he to be fair. Im only a random name on a forum in his eyes
