Hmmm maybe. I agree with you and Saint that he's picked for a job... but I just can't see ...honestly in either versions of Klopp teams that he is suppose to take 3 or 4 touches then pass back. In fact look at tonight... he have the ball away a lot in first half trying to transfer quickly.... I can't criticise him if that's what I have been asking him to do. What I did criticise him as before is letting the ball pass him by out of possession... too often he's half assing the move forward to challenge but not commiting ...which means he's running in circles just getting tired. 2nd half tonight he judged it much much better both in terms of when to step up and challenge, when to move forward ..even just that 5 yards rather than shuffle and turn back. And it's passing was simpler but positive in 2nd half. Tactical change? Maybe but I think he showed he could do that in any game. He's the recycler... I understand the fear of losing possession in the middle when tour team bombs forward.... it's exposing... but being positive doesn't mean driving Gerrard no 6 like (numpty) just recycle the ball without 5 touches ...even if back . So assuming all goes to plan we will be drawn against one of the following. Dortmund Barca Porto Bayern Madrid Juve Some big teams there, going to be a tasty last 16 game. Porto is obviously the easiest, 16 points from their group but they had arguably the easiest of all the groups and we hammered them last year. Dortmund would be fun for Klopp. Madrid revenge?
