The midfield isn't the one I'd like to see, but it's not exactly a bad midfield! It was good enough to get to the final last season. I think we'll struggle to create, but maybe Klopp is banking on being solid and trying to nick a goal or two on the counter for a good 50/60mins. If we're not breaking through or have let one in, he has plenty of forward options to bring on and open it up.

My view is that like the psg game I called the team shape and midfield based on klopp going bav k to what he s done most I'd hoped he would not pick windy tonight. It is what it is. It's all about performance now and windy owes it big time. At least Keita and shaqiri are obvious subs to come on
Well, not a massive suprise for team selection. Hopefully we will see the FB bomb on and stretch their defence, god forbid but it is a good midfield for the high press, let see if we use it. It worked a treat last year in Europe. Let's try it again.

Strangely, considering the midfield, away in Europe weve looked shattered five minutes after kick off. I'm hoping that a bit of rest and rotation will bring the best out of the players.
Just to make you feel a bit better... I have to fetch the Mrs (nm) at 8.30pm so I'll not start watching until almost 9pm
