gravity only exists to explain the absurdities of the globe model, anything that doesnt make sense ie - perfectly still calm days on a rock flying and spinning at unimaginable speeds- gravity, upside down oceans - gravity, its the magic bullet, its not a measurable force and its not needed on flat earth where up and down mean something just as we experience, if something is denser/heavier than air it falls, if its lighter than air (helium) it rises

You know when you're in a car going close past railings the railings zip past really quickly? Railings over the other side of the field remain in view for much longer.

    Illuminati confirmed.

“Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.” Nikola Tesla

It will be seen that my reasons for thinking that the earth is round are rather precarious ones. Yet this is an exceptionally elementary piece of information. On most other questions I should have to fall back on the expert much earlier, and would be less able to test his pronouncements. And much the greater part of our knowledge is at this level. It does not rest on reasoning or on experiment, but on authority. And how can it be otherwise, when the range of knowledge is so vast that the expert himself is an ignoramous as soon as he strays away from his own specialty? Most people, if asked to prove that the earth is round, would not even bother to produce the rather weak arguments I have outlined above. They would start off by saying that ‘everyone knows’ the earth to be round, and if pressed further, would become angry. … This is a credulous age, and the burden of knowledge which we now have to carry is partly responsible. ~ George Orwell

In the Middle Ages people believed that the earth was flat, for which they had at least the evidence of their senses: we believe it to be round, not because as many as one per cent of us could give the physical reasons for so quaint a belief, but because modern science has convinced us that nothing that is obvious is true, and that everything that is magical, improbable, extraordinary, gigantic, microscopic, heartless, or outrageous is scientific. George Bernard Shaw

You are really into this aren't you? So how do you define night and day? Does the Earth pivot away from the Sun at night time and what is the flat surface of Earth? Day and night would be the same everywhere, sunrise and sunset the same. You my friend have been watching too much telly and need a better diet.. <ok> #doh

    If the earth was
Eh? What's the sun got to do with it?

We know it's daytime because you can clearly see kids programmes and Jeremy Kyle. Night time brings the more adult schedule. Everyone knows that.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm starting to think that you're not taking this seriously.

i dont watch telly and im not really into it, ive looked into it as much as I can in the past when I found it like ive done with numerous things, so I know enough to easily answer all the questions on this thread without looking them up because they are textbook responses to information that challenges this belief

"why would THEY do this" "why dont we fall off" "members all over the globe"

you are programmed to respond to it with mockery and contempt, despite me having shown most of you up for your lack of knowledge on your own positions
