Yes, looking forward to the day I can get these discounts. In the meantime, I won't be paying 37 quid to these ****s to fund their promotion charge. Leeds is a big city which needs a PL club (almost used the word 'deserves'), but I've yet to meet a vermin fan who is not a ****. I'm talking about shallow, boastful, not too bright, inferiority complex and keen to be associated with a winning team. Only they picked the wrong club.. Leeds have always been a tawdry club even when they were one of the leading English teams in the 60s/70s. Niggly, dour, devoid of flair on and off the pitch. They copied Real Madrid's strip cos they were unhappy in their own skins. Revie was a superstitious old woman, who loved his bingo, carpet bowls and 'dossiers' on opponents. Their ground never had the grandeur of Hillsborough, the noise of Old Trafford or Goodison, or even the history of Bramall Lane. Even now it's a lop sided dump in a light industrial area, devoid of charisma or charm. No wonder they never got any games in the 1966 WC.Let's also remember they've only been going since 1919 as the original Leeds club got disbanded for cheating. It would be nice if no one bought any tickets for this game, as long as people keep paying these prices they will keep charging them. To anyone thinking of attending this one, I urge you to think again.
The revised price model put to the club had the most expensive adult seats at £39 per month, not per game.
Our tickets start at £12, £18 or £24 for non-members in South or North. So City are cheaper for all adults, pensioners and over 16s at any category game. More expensive for under 11s at any category game. Depending on the game it would be the same price, more or less for 11-16 year olds. I guess Leeds would be top category so we would have been more expensive for 11-16 year olds.
You forgot that the largest crowd there until they played Sunderland in the cup in the 1960s was the 54,000 for Leeds v Hunslet game. Rugby city!
Would still cost me less to take my grandkids to Elland Road. Especially compared to the West Stand Lower, the equivalent of the away section at Elland Road. That not that I would inflict Elland .Road on my grandkids, they've never done me any wrong. Wednesday are even worse. Their fans pay £10 more behind the goal than Leeds for a category a game.
City trialling a collection service for tickets over the festive period. https://www.hullcitytigers.com/club-to-offer-ticket-collection-option-over-festive-period/ Good idea, though hardly ground breaking stuff. Not clear whether the gate across the Londesborough Street walkway will be opened to allow easy access to the club shop.
They might try all sorts of things to lure fans back. Hopefully they'll even reintroduce concessions. But for many, including me, the only day we'll return is when they **** off
