Lively away grounds?

They are always noisy when we play them tbf

 

Can confirm Cardiff is still pretty noisy. Mind you a visit from Saints will usually get the home fans singing at some point

They have adopted that Viking war chant thing when their Icelandic full back lines up for a long throw. That said, has anyone, ever, scored from a long throw into the box?

 

You must remember our once record signing Rory Delap for Stoke?

Didn't think they were overly lively until after the goal either really, worse than Wolves imo.

 

I loved Rory; but every time I saw him rubbing the ball with his shirt before a throw, I thought “ah bollocks”. Did we ever score from one of those throws? I don’t remember it.

Took them a while to get going, but they put St Mary’s to shame, well before the goal. Some very Welsh sounding songs at times too.

I usually hate music on the PA at any ground, but loved that male voice choir recording before the game.

 

It's their first season in the PL for a while. It is all new and exciting. If they survive 3 or 4 seasons they will have the soul and atmosphere ripped out like the rest of the cannon fodder in the PL.

 

Mate Eastleigh would put us to shame

 

Should add that no I don't remember him doing it for us but I do at Stoke.

I remember it getting to the point where teams were giving away a corner rather than a throw.
