i hope this doesn't get taken the wrong way, but its not the first time sterling has made such claims, and there was no reaction from a black bloke who was literally right there and would have heard anything said. the aubamayang thing was disgusting and hope it hasn't been swept under the carpet, but it is the racist fa we are talking about here.
just seen jimmy, apparently he was called a black c*nt, would it have been acceptable to just call him a ****? see worst said at football matches every week and nothing is done about it. or worst still would they make the same sort of issue if someone shouted white **** or is racism only one sided?, yes i know bring colour into it turns it into a racism comment, or why mention the colour of their skin in the first place, but is it still racism if someone is called a white ****? i don't think sadly it is. i am surprised their was no reaction from the black fan who was literally a few yards away. is chelsea though, they are no better than millwall and we know what they are all about, strange considering the amount of black players that have helped them win trophies, sorry buy them trophies
Drogba pretty much single handedly won them trophies. Tottenham fans chucking banana skin at Aubamayang when they have black players themselves. I wonder how many Liverpool fans are anti Muslim, yet idolise the likes of Salah and Mané.
exactly, i'm not anti Muslim, i just don't believe in any religion. not that it makes any difference to the players who play for us what their beliefs are. sorry jb i work with someone who is muslim and i quite often ( not on purpose lol) walk into changing rooms to use toilets and he is kneeling on floor praying.
So, if Citeh are the best side to grace the Prem. and we are now ahead of them does that mean............

People are assuming the person shouting the insult truly believes what he's saying rather than just dishing out a (unnecessary) extra angle to the insult. Does the person truly believe a black person is a lesser human being? Probably not. Especially since they will have cheered for black players in the team they support. I always say skin colour is just a characteristic, much like being fat, bald or ginger.
It is tribalism but the racist puts an extra angle to it. Just because their own team has black players is no excuse. I thought we’ve come a long way and left these things behind but dark clouds are appearing in the horizon. Something to do with Brexit and Trump hogging the limelight? A few decades ago, these things were common place. Throwing a banana onto the pitch, calling black players names not only by fans but by players even team mates. Whole crowd abusing black players were not that rare. Do people remember our own fans abusing John Barnes? I do. Only recently we were castigating foreign fans for being stuck in the dark ages while we’ve become more enlightened. The authorities must clamp down on this very heavily and set an example. Worrying times.
