I am really not one to dish out bannings because of a difference of opinion, but you are right, 3 managers, the same ****....I am starting to suspect something is not quite right with this guy.

And on the third day they rose from the dead.
Well, that went OK didn't it??
For 44 mins we were able to keep out a rampant City, sometimes by our fingernails, then whack, up pops Kante from one of the few good passes that Hazard made, and we're in front. Amazing what a bit of confidence does. Alonso who had been struggling a tad, passes going astray, suddenly looked like last years player, blocking off his side of the pitch and getting forward a lot. Everyone went up in speed, passes were zinging, Kante was inspired and Luiz should have shut up all those who say he can't defend or play in a back 4. He was terrific. Pedro was excellent, Willian ran into space and towards goal , only Hazard of the front 3 was off his game for me, proving ,not for the first time, he's no striker. Plenty of effort, but to little effect.
Everyone was involved, and maybe for the first time we saw why a good team effort will often beat a team of champions.
Well done also to Sarri who used his subs properly and got his tactics spot on. Finally applause for Guardiola who sought out our players for a handshake at the end. Class act.

Agreed, City were awesome in the first half and we just did enough to put them out of their stride. Then up pops Kante, the last person you'd expect to rocket that home at the death.
We matched them in the second half if not surpassed them at times but i was more happy with the out and out doggedness we showed, real team spirit.

    Vive la revolution!

Agreed with most of the comments on here; outstanding team performance against City esp Kante & Luiz - undoubtedly the best result of the season thus far. Congrats to Sarri & the team on a job well done!

Wow. I am actually amazed at this result but congrats to sarri and our players for proving me wrong.

Whether we stick with this tactic or not is something we will see but im not sure it will work against sides who park the bus. From the small amounts of the game i saw,

We looked far more balanced as pedro and willian helped offer width, as great as hazard is him wondering around all the time doesnt help our shape. Plus willian helps track back more (maybe he wanted it more this game as recently willian has been more lazy compared to 4 years ago under mourinho when he was everywhere!).

Willian is far better on the left than the right

Well done boys, went awful for my fantasy team though
