You point out that he had world class players like Aguero, Silva, Kompany etc and that he has spent around £600 m in 2 years so he aint as good as everyone claims (and should be breaking records) and it makes you bitter
Chelsea got dogs abuse for "buying" trophies but **** all is thrown at Pep...instead everyone bangs one out about his greatness.

Anyone spending that amount after inheriting those players should be playing great football and winning. In my view it's embarrassing how **** they've been in Europe but that is ignored by every pep lover.

It's not deluded at all.

City play superb football but they now have two £50 million footballers for every position.

To suggest, like the ****ing BBC do, that Guardiola is some sort of genius for getting these to play decent football is bollocks.

What he did at Barca was genius, what he's doing at City is piss easy by comparison.

Everyone mocked him after his first season. City threw another half billion at it and, ta daaaaa, genius is reborn.

Fair play to him, must be nice to work in that environment but till City produce one single player of note he is not some sort of messiah.

The Pep hate thing is bollocks imo. He only wins because he spends money yanno, is straight out the Kopite playbook.

Anyone who can watch that side and firstly not admire the football they play, and secondly not see the way he coaches and manages that side should give up following the game for me. Sure the money ****ing massively helps, but it’s not the reason they play as they do, and have been blowing away sides in the PL for a season and a half now. The bloke is obviously a great manager and has proved it in 3 countries now.

Chelsea won trophies without playing in a way that was great to watch in the main, they were largely functional and pragmatic. City not so much.

Embarrassing in Europe? They got to the QF’s last season and got undone by the RS, who got to the final.

This season I expect them to do better.
