You don't need a Sky phone line, you need any landline which presumably you have since you're using the internet. And your point about BT Vision makes no sense, whether it's freeview with add-ons or not, it's not £600.

Yea, my thoughts exactly, and the police and the politicians.

A load of very stupid people have rightly been locked up recently for stealing TVs and trainers, whats the penalty for phone tapping nowadays.

You do if it is a new installation its on the contract and I said the reception in my area is not good enough for BT and even if you take off the phone line for sky it still comes to 480 quid a year and like cosi says even if it was 2 pence a year Turdock can go shove his head up some other bastards ass and leave mine alone.

And that goes for you too

A bit left field - but has anyone noticed that Turdoch's female minder (second wife) has now admitted that one of her daughters was baptised with our own Mr Blair acting as a godfather to her, wearing a white robe.... 'a close friend' she said.

Yuck. and isn't agreeing to do that a sort of conflict of interest? Just goes to show who has been up someone's arse on the quiet.

This may sound a bit fanciful but could this be a possible scenario?

    1. Sky has done F1 before but pulled out sharpish due to epic failure.
    2. Several F1 teams are having funding, debt or share price issues, currently.
    3. Bernie accepts this deal on F1's behalf; F1 gets a much-needed fast cash injection.
    4. F1 fails again on Sky. Epically, of course.
    5. Sky pull out sharpish and must pay way out of contract.
    6. F1 gets another fast cash injection and returns to free-to-air.

A lot fanciful, maybe :) Plus we, the fans, must still suffer in the meantime :(

I sincerely hope a scenario of this type actually occurs.

There is no 'quick' solution for the F1 fan to avoid the initial hit which comes in 2012. But if Murdoch sees his 'safe bet' turning into a potential loss over time (fingers crossed guys!) he will pull out - because he's only interested in money (your money and mine).

we need to figure out a News of the World scenario - ie the telephone hacking leads to closing the rag.
So we must come up with a plot that so severely destroys SKY's credibility to broadcast F1 - Turdoch (Snr or the boy ) would shut the operation down.

The plot is simplicity itself but requires a concerted effort.

Just stop buying his products. All of them. No exception. Sink him!
