Looks like an embarrassing poleaxing coming our way based on the last 4 games for us v's the form of City.
But ,by being positive, it could also be the restart of our season.
Not for a minute do I see us getting better than a draw or narrow loss, but what is there for us, is a big chance to step up and show fight , guts and professionalism which we have lacked in spades for a few weeks.
Probably not the game for Sarri to make huge changes in personnel or formation, but little ones, definitely.
I see at least 4 regulars playing for their Chelsea futures under Sarri, and the rest have been complacent and not deserving of their easy- earned cash.
This game is as much about character and attitude as it is tactics, and it's time the players looked in the mirror and reacted positively.

In some ways it may not be a bad game to have. I expect us to get beat comfortably but perhaps we will rise to the occasion and City are due a bad game.

Stranger things have happened but I'd be amazed if we don't get beat.

We are going to get murdered.

Alonso with an injury and looking tired up against a rest sterling + sarris high line. On the other side hazard who is looking tired against a physical and pacy walker. I just cant see us getting anything out of this unfortunately

With Jesus leading the attack it's no wonder you are going so well.
We look like we have been wandering in the desert even without Moses.
Hoping for some divine intervention, and at least a spirited showing.

Going on our current form divine intervention is the only thing we can count on unless the supreme being has given up on us as well. It’ll take a performance of “Anfield League Cup” proportions to unseat City; as you said it’s amazing what you can achieve when belief is combined with a smidgen of “intestinal fortitude” something one of our senior players should ponder instead of rolling over and singing the praises of our opponents.

A chest of drawers would be more useful.
But I'm with you, 0-0 would be an achievement, 1-1 a great effort, 2-2 a Miracle.
As Hot Chocolate once sang "I believe in Miracles ", but maybe not today.

Being negative is one thing but repeating the same ****e every game is counter productive. Now spreading over three managers. Btw, Luiz & Alonso were superb today and Sarri was spot on with his tactics and subs.
