That's what I said earlier. Lovely to win, but essential we don't lose. Be happy with a draw if we at least look promising.

"We're playing XXXXX on Saturday and they have a new manager. He's had nearly three days to get his feet under the table. We're bound to lose."

"XXXXX are playing us on Saturday and we have a new manager. He's only had three days to get his feet under the table. We're bound to lose."

    That is all.

Disagree, if we can't beat Cardiff then we can't beat anybody and then we will all start dreaming that we'll sign 2 wonder players in January to save us (which we won't)

    Couldn't beat Burnley with a whole pre-season.
Couldn't beat Fulham, Watford, B.mouth, Newcastle with a weeks preparation.
But we should batter Cardiff (who've won the last 3 at home) with two full days under Hootles belt.

    Yeah, great logic.

Can we expect an aerial bombardment from Cardiff? I haven’t watched them play, so don’t know their style, yet will expect a Colin team to try to bully us all over the park.

Positive thinking needed from the start. More communication between keeper and back 4... get the tackle in and put the ball into row Z if needs be .. All the missed chances from the usual fairly high ratio of shots on ,, please to spend that extra half a second to look to see where to place that final ball, rather than straight at the keeper or over the top...

With only two days I’m not expecting much. By Huddersfield he will have had two weeks of training with the team so we should start to see his plan for the team.

Heavy rain and 45mph wind forecast in Cardiff tomorrow afternoon. Not one for the faint hearted!

I'm quite keen to see him on the pitch. He seems to be highly rated.
