English born and bred old chap, surname one of the oldest in the U.K. first recorded in the pipe rolls of Staffordshire in about 1163, and voted Labour until B.liar f****d it all up.

I like a good old English name. History is fascinating. I traced my surname back to the doomsday book and one of the founder surnames in Yorkshire.

But surely not under a Labour government, they would just keep spending and spending, until....

Woops, until they ran out of money again ?

We have been here before, surely ?

For me, that was a disgusting letter. When you actually think about it, it really was bad taste and unnecessary. You are spot on regarding Labour. Every time they get into power they make the country broke and it's the Tories that have to sort it. Then when they have to clear up a Labour mess the public moan at them but sadly they don't understand what's going on, or choose to forget. You always hear the ill-informed comments of "look after the rich" but without them, the poor wouldn't survive.
Saying all this if the Tories let me down on Brexit I will have to make a choice.

The same part that you do. Go on then. Does that mean that there is no room for any further democratic exercise of any sort until that has happened?. What you want is unachievable without some compromise. Last I heard we still live in a Parliamentary democracy even though you have feared its possible results since day one and the Government has had to be reminded of the Constitutional position while they tried to bulldoze their way round that 'red tape'. Which part of that do you not understand? If Parliament votes for another Referendum because they are hopelessly split on the issue and can't muster enough support for one unified vision of what Brexit means, you will be forced to vote again. So back to my original question which you very carefully avoided answering. What's wrong with that given your certainty that the people will vote the way the Rangercol one will. It is very simple after all. You can exercise your democratic vote at that time and abide by the result or you can go off and sulk. For the avoidance of doubt and to avoid any claim that I am picking on you , the same goes for any disappointed Remain voters if the result is again a vote to leave however narrow the majority. The populace may not have had a clue what the implications were last time but we are all a lot better informed now so if anyone chooses not to vote, I for one will not be asking for any further vote nor accepting cries that we were lied to as an excuse to keep on having further Referendums..

You may not change your mind but some may, Some voters will have died in the intervening period and the 16-18 year olds who did not have a vote last time or couldn't be bothered to last time will this time. You're not worried about the result are you?

The other alternative is that we have another 3 years of bickering before there has to be another general election, because that is the law however much you might not like that. The only difference there will be is that even more of the older generation will have died off and an even larger number of new young voters will have a chance to vote for the first time ie those who were 13 last time.

But that's alright. Go and howl at the moon.

    We had a vote
The nation has had time to consider the facts
The 52/48 would not represent the will of the people today. It was shown to contain a vast proportion of protest within
It needs to be clarified as this is very important
Sovereignty don’t pay the bills it’s 2019 nearly no time for history
