****ing hell, even the bench is light. Could be seen as one of two things, either a proper **** you to Burnley, and he thinks he can get away with mass changes. Or a proper kick up the arse for some of the first team, your not performing let's see if these boys can take a chance. What happens if we run riot. In all fairness it's a shock to see so many changes but it's still a strong side.
I don't quite see the formation tbh. If origi is willing to run the left wing, cut in and shoot fine. It could be 41212... thats prob the widest guess. Look... the defence isn't awful. The midfield 3 isn't awful but origi and sturridge.... they'd be gone already if I'd my way.
I actually don't think bench is that rough.... two forwards on it and giving Camacho a little run might be a great move.
Well this is why we have a squad so we can rotate. Time for them to show us that they can step up when needed.
Or the front 3 have played near enough every game and we have some big fixtures coming up where they’ll need to be fresh. We said at the start they can’t play every game so not sure why people are surprised when team is rotated. Actually think it makes more sense to drop them all and play a diff system than drop 1 and hope that studge or Origi can replace one of them in a similar style as totally diff players.
Rotation is about 2 or maybe 3 at a time. Too many changes at once here, imo. Ah well, we'll see. Should be interesting at least.
It's a strange one, very unusual to change an entire forward line. I'm leaning towards a rest rather than a bollocking but only because mane has been left out and he's at the least putting the effort in.
I think that team will confuse Burnley. All week they would have been working out how to stop the usual front three, and try and dominate midfield. Then Klopp goes and puts that team out. This could be chaos all round
Such a team makes Burnley confident they can take on us. It may pull them out and allow Sturridge get 5 chances to score 2. I am hoping for a big game from Naby
I've not heard. It would make sense, I'd rather have him on the bench at the minute than Salah or Bobby.
