CC you are a god among men, I take back everything, the scales have dropped from my eyes. (dropper) Bollockskis is the man for us, it was under our noses all this time.
As you were, chaps. But then again, no smoke without fire. https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/spo...d-with-besiktas-for-nelson-oliveira-1-5804932
@norwichjamie Hearing Besiktas have agreed 3 million with #NCFC for Nelson. What ya reckon @michaeljbailey Michael BaileyVerified account@michaeljbailey Nope. #ncfc Jon Dunn@cromercanary What about the old adage 'no smoke without fire'? Do you subscribe to that in this case? Michael BaileyVerified account@michaeljbailey Replying to @cromercanary Well it’s quite clear reminding people Oliveira exists would be useful ahead of January.
I think this makes positive reading, but of course, greedy agents will be doing their utmost to persuade their players to move and earn themselves a lucrative bonus!!! 'In essence, you can sum up City’s approach to the January scramble in simple terms. Farke is under no financial pressure to offload talent. By the same token, there is no urge to attract fresh blood. On the latter point both Webber and Farke point to the likes of Grant Hanley, Ben Marshall and Kenny McLean to name but three who could reasonably expect to feature far more heavily than they have to this point of the season.' We have to hope that the players are enjoying playing in yellow and green until at least the 5th of May. https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwi...cisions-in-january-transfeer-window-1-5806493
Being top of the league will in turn bring "bigger" clubs to sit up, wonder why and who and take note of the players that are making it happen - it is inevitable as we no longer sit below the radar. Although we may not need to sell, and don't want to sell, continued success will attract unwanted attention and the likes of Pukki, Aarons, Lewis, Cantwell and even Bendy might be the subject of bids from the circling vultures who do need to buy.
The article highlights just how well SW, DF and the scouting setup did last summer. We have quality in depth at almost every position, LB and GK being the exceptions (though we do have sufficient cover for LB in Pinto and Marshall). The players who have left us have had mixed impact on the PL. Maddison is certainly living up to expectations, but the same can hardly be said of Pritchard. In almost two years at Huddersfield he has made 26 appearances and scored 2 goals. In 1 1/2 seasons at Newcastle, Jacob Murphy has made 31 appearances (16 of those as sub) and scored 1 goal. Josh has 3 goals in 12 appearances for Cardiff. As those sales netted around £57m for us, we seem to have done well, especially considering how well we are doing without them.
Spot on ocf. IfANY clubs do wish to buy any of our players, then they’d better come with pretty hefty cheque books. I believe with the exception of TC, all the contracts expire after 2021!!! Yes Rick, the Murphy twins have hardly set the PL alight, unlike THE JM and IMO his goal on Saturday cancelled out his dive a couple of weeks ago and his ‘winding up some yob’ boasting that his ‘trainers cost more than his (the yob) entire outfit.
Possibly a new rumour? Kingsley Schindler, of Holstein Kiel is apparently likely to move on in January. 5 goals and 6 assists in BuLi 2, playing on the right wing. Highly doubt there's anything in it, but there we are.
W We were said to be interested in the summer, but Bundesliga clubs were also interested, especially on a 'free'. Will depend on what he wants.
Bloody hell they must have offered some serious spending money, Bruce is hopless without it! ANd just about above hopeless with it! bah!
In other unreliable nonsense Evans wants to sell. If he thinks he can actually be paid money for that shower of a club, he must be mad! Bah!
Does Pritchard have a sell on?? https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footba...-willing-to-pay-15m-for-pritchard_343662.html
William Hondermarck, an 18 year old French midfielder playing in Ireland is on our radar. We seem to have a good scouting system in the Emerald Isle.
Just seen this - https://www.footballfancast.com/cha...t-of-favour-bournemouth-striker-jermain-defoe NEVER!!!!!
I do hope not. And if he's fourth choice striker at Bournemouth, what makes the writer think he'd be ahead of Pukki, Rhodes or Srbeny here? He'd be 4th in the pecking order, barely ever used and on high wages. No chance
