Last time out Sunderland drew at Walsall and Notts County drew with Carlisle.
Jack Ross’ side, who topped the table in the group stages of the competition, play their second round tie on Tuesday 4th December, at 7.45pm.

Supporters are reminded that ticket prices are discounted if purchased prior to the day of the game, with tickets bought up until 4.30pm on Monday 3rd December just £3 for adults and £1 for over 65s and under 16s. Season card holders will also be awarded a black cat point if they buy their ticket before the deadline.

    My two pence:
Jack Ross is sure to rest a lot of the first team players, so I expect to see a completely different line-up to the side that faced Walsall. It’s a good opportunity for the fringe players and some of the U23s to impress. Duncan Watmore is expected to make an appearance after a long time out recovering from his knee injury.
Donald Love will be out for the next 2 months following ankle surgery.

My guess is a 2-0 home win.

It could be a bit lonely - not expecting a big turn out for this one.

I wouldn't mind having a look at the baby faced keeper for this one, Patterson is it? Dunno where Stryjek is, he was on loan at Eastleigh but I thought it was a short term thing.

Playing fringe players is definitely the way forward but it would also be fantastic to win a competition and this is the best chance we've had since 2014.

I think we have a big enough squad and good young kids coming through to get this one over the line.

Don't we have to play at least four of the squad who featured at Walsall.
Other than that give the younguns a run out but ensure we have enough to win as keeping this run going is important I'll settle for any type of win as long as we avoid a penalty shootout.

Just looking at the ticket availability online - looks like a canny crowd can be expected - limited availability in most blocks of the east stand

Good news for Duncan also pleased to see young Mumba getting a start.
I'd play Sinclair from the start and see if he can get a goal or two to boost his confidence as he's not scored the goals his efforts deserve.

Just been on the County website and their new Manager Neil Ardley is intending putting out a full strength team for his first start as manager.
Should be a decent test for whoever plays for us tomorrow.

I've never been more upset, with a player's injury, than with Watmore's second .... not even Gary Rowell.

I hope he comes back strong and is lucky from now on, he'll thrive in a Jack Ross side.

He has the right attitude and the other players will love him, Haway Duncan son!

Aren’t all of our players technically on loan from a category one academy club as we are a category one academy club? Loophole?

This is now a knockout competition with a North & South section.
I hope we avoid Walsall - if we get through :emoticon-0116-evilg
