It’s a long shot Woolly but THE TIN MINER is very well thought of by his trainer. If he can get his jumping together he will go in at some point. Lightly raced as he has had one or two problems but definitely a horse with more ability than we have seen thus far.
20/1 currently but I suspect it may go off single figures. Have a good day, blow Acey a kiss from me.
I looked at this one but was put off by the fact that it's a Presenting and is markedly up in trip on soft ground. I've opted for the ol boy Invicta Lake who was romping to victory over course and distance in February this year but unseated 2 out. Now 8lb lower but has some half decent form at the track. Negatives are his completion rate and the trainer form but I've had a little dabble ew @ 14/1. Enjoy your day out Harbottle and Wooly. Beats the ****e out of working that's for sure.
I know he is short but you think Acey can get off the mark tomorrow, am looking forward to seeing Breaking Waves over hurdles with the exception of Strong Glance some good form out that bumper Back in October
I like Acey, he was very nearly top of the tree in bumpers last year. I was very dissapointed when he didnt win first time up and am really hoping that he bumped into one that day. Too short for me tomorrow but will be cheering him on.
I see Richard Johnson goes all the way to Musselburgh for 2 rides today one of which is odds on. Seems a long way to go but interestingly the trainer is also 2/3 in 5 years, so he doesn't send many there at all. Double for me. Also in the last Weapons Out is also trainer/jockeys only horse/ride of the meeting. One double and treble. I also like about 5 at Wolvers too.
This horse was a lot bigger when the markets were opened last night. Some time since the Bests went for a real touch but it looks like they really fancy this one.
Would have potentially made a rather decent double with Third Wind in the opener who has prevailed at a whopping 40/1.
hi fellas! plumpton,2 30: ive backed cheque en blanc here last time out,and hes much respected,as a 5 lbr rise seems fair enough, but, from a handicapping point of view,i think,INVICTA LAKE can go well too.its worth bearing in mind,he won a valuable handicap hurdle 3 years ago off a much higher mark, and though its unlikely that hes still as good,he can give a good account today, with paddy brennan an interesting booking..e w player..
May of got a little lucky there but Johnson double landed, first one backed into Fav and the odds on shot drifting to odds against.
