As we have been saying, Hughes wasn’t the problem, just a symptom of the underlying disease. Whoever is appointed, unless they are backed in the January window with a quality CB we will be back to square one at the end of the season. Having said that, please Ralph, appoint someone who knows how to organise a defence!

The players have to take a huge part in getting managers sacked down here. That’s now 3 they have underperformed for. It’s their responsibility to give 100% and they haven’t. Whether a manager is a nice person or not they have to give their all. Yes the club play a huge part in it but my opinion is the players are at fault as well as Les Reed and Kreuger. Who now comes in?
